The Sovereign Code: Engineering a Future of Human Flourishing

“We are at the dawn of the AI era, but the tools we use and build will determine if this dawn brings a new morning of liberty or the long shadow of the panopticon.”

The Mission

I am a retired full-stack software engineer and liberation technologist. After decades of building the digital world, I am now dedicating my “encore chapter” to a singular, vital pursuit: decentralizing power and restoring human agency. As we enter 2026, the intersection of AI, social media, and global surveillance has created a “Digital Double Bind.” I believe that the same tools currently used to divide and monitor us can—if engineered with a trauma-informed heart and a liberation theology lens—become the greatest instruments for healing and freedom in human history.

What I Explore

My work lives at the crossroads of code, conscience, and culture. I use, build and research:

  • Sovereign Infrastructure: Moving beyond platforms to protocols. I advocate for decentralized networks (Nostr, Meshnet) that no state or corporation can “delete.”
  • Local AI for the People: Championing open-source, private AI that runs on your hardware, not in a corporate cloud. This is the “Digital Printing Press” of our generation.
  • The Art of Resistance: Using the arts—specifically the “Sovereign Soul” of music and digital storytelling—to bypass polarized algorithms and speak directly to our shared humanity.
  • The Mycelial Strategy: Designing tech that mimics nature’s resilience—rhizomatic, non-hierarchical, and fundamentally antifragile.

Bridging the Gaps

My project is a bridge between worlds. I look for the “common enemy” of digital totalitarianism to unite the unlikeliest of allies—bringing together the moral fire of the Prophetic Left and the independent spirit of the Dissident Right.

I believe that whether you follow the wisdom of an elder like Rev. William Barber II or the energy of a young conservative like Charlie Kirk, we all share a common need for safety, privacy, and sovereignty.

A Call to the “Wounded”

Technology has, for too long, weaponized our trauma for profit. My goal is to build “Digital Safe Houses” and “Privacy Railroads” that allow us to step out of the algorithmic cage match and back into a neighborhood of mutual respect.

History gives us the blueprint. Nature gives us the guide. I provide the code.

Welcome to the journey of the Liberation Technologist. Let’s enjoy and build the tools that set us free.
